today was a fun day i should say.. we had lots of fun at shuping laoshi house.. well, i wanna say a BiG tHanK yOu to those who went b'cause you all cheeRed me up.. i was an extreme bad mood before going there in the morning.. the reason ? my small brother and cousins.. they are so ill-mannered lor.. and i punished them by banning them from watching tv and playing computer from 12m to 4pm.. haha.. i wondered how they survived b'cause both tv and computer are like their bread and water ever since school holidays started.. okie, enough of them.. now about my wonderful afternoon..
our church class gathered, discussed about some issues and were distributed all the books of the new testament among ourselves to read during the holidays.. after that we played 2 games.. first was 'cat and mouse' game whereby we had to pass 2 ties around and whoever ends up with both ties will have to do a forfeit which is eating one chicken wing.. the game depended alot on how fast one ties a simple knot with the tie.. of course, their were many sabotages.. many wanted min hai to 'kana' but he did not.. the next game was 'big fish and small fish'.. it was a superb game as all of us practically lost control of ourselves.. this was more of a 'mentality' game as almost everyone made the slighest mistakes.. of course, some people were more 'unstable' so they had to eat like 12 chicken wings ?? hehez.. after everyone's tummy were aching from the extreme amount of laughter, they wanted to stop.. but, since both min hai and i have not been forfeited, they were all out to sabotage us.. so, min hai was first to 'kena' then me.. in between, min hai changed place from opposite to beside me.. it was somewhat like a 'fengshui' thingie.. haha.. then, after he moved, i lost.. :'( but of course, wasn't entirely his fault b'cause i was kinda anxious.. well, you can't blame if min hai was known as 'whoever sits beside him always become blur' person.. so overall, it was extremely fun.. thanx jiaming for organising..
at the later part of day, after dinner, we went to warren club to bowl.. haiz.. my bowling results are detelerating !! but also, i did not cut my nails so could not control the ball properly and resulted on hurting my own fingers.. haiz.. i am so disappointed.. *time to sleep*

woa !! daddy is now fifty one !! soooo fast old le.. haha.. but in my heart, he will and still be that forty-year-old daddy whom i love.. is it too mushy ?? or touching ?? do you need a tissue ?? okie, now about the cake.. erm.. i got a black forest cake from AngIe the ChoIce.. and so, part of it went down my stomach.. of course that goes without saying right ? agreeing with the fact that i ate it ?? i know i'm getting lame.. nevermind.. i shall repeat this : i MiSs my bigg-io BroTheR !! i can't wait for him to come home.. the house is really getting out of control !! the 4 boys created havoc !! i lost my temper.. and there goes my poor throat.. dun worry, i DID 'pamper' it later with coke and water, yar ? i know i'm lame aGaiN.. i better try sleeping early..

yoz !! *burp* ops.. sorry.. *burp* i'm kinda full from dinner.. our family went out to celebrate daddy's birthday at causeway's crystal jade.. actually his b'day is tomorrow.. but yar, you know.. but tomorrow then we'll cut the cake.. and i am in charge, or at least i volunteer, to buy the cake.. hehe :) anyway, i really need a gOoD niGhT sLeEp.. since my biggie bro isn't around, i have to suffer by entertaining my small bro.. can you believe it ?? do you know how he does it ? he drags me out of my bed to play monopoly with him !! can you actually believe that ?? and monopoly isn't a short game !! it is rather long.. haiz.. now, i wish my biggie bro is back.. actually, i kinda miss him.. the house seems quieter.. and i have to do all the scolding.. my poor throat.. i think that's all i have to say here..
now, about my new blog layout.. i guess that some of you must be extremely surprised when you saw this black-and-white layout.. why is this so ? b'coz you all know i am a colourful person.. as in one who LoVeS colours.. especially piNk !! the reason why i make some a big change from the previous blog is, i wanted to try 'growing up' a little at a time.. hehe.. if you notice on the left, there is a 'micky's pet' yup, that some-what belongs to my small bro - michael.. well, he apparently wanted to copy me to have his OWN blog but, my mother forbids him to.. (she is totally unaware that i have one too.. although she often sees me typing html code..) so, i being a wonderful, caring sister (i can hear some of you readers vomitting !!), allowed him to put his piKacHu fetus here.. that is wHat a elder sister is for !! *muhahaha*

okie.. as i PROMISED.. i will, i WILL blow your mind off with my prom nite details.. but of course, there are STINGS attached ;) as usual.. i'm sure you know that LIFE does not always go the way we want it to, but yar, God plans it all.. and i'm sure the ending will be beautiful.. so, the strings that i mentioned earlier, was that i will first talk about my day then my pRoM.. i can now hear someone cursing and swearing le.. haha.. hAvE pAtiEncE.. :)
today, i woke up late and somewhat caused grace to.. erm.. haha.. miss the bus stop.. it was super silly.. she took 190 and was sUppoSed to get off at the stop BEFORE the highway.. but apparently, she missed it and unkNowiNgly, went on to the highway.. haHa.. so.. she got off at the outside-SJI-busstop -> crossed the road -> and took the bus back.. haha.. it was just sooo funny.. especially when she is a gEography student !! she sHouLd have some sense of direaction right ?? hahaha.. gRace, if you are reading this right now, you may strangle me for all i care.. my tummy hurts !! froM all those laughter.. after a beautiful morning walk back to home, we immediately started our movie marathon !! okie, we watched mEan girLs, fiRst 50 dAteS, eLLe enChaNted.. and mummy bought us (with small bro and cousins) to MoS bUrgEr to have our lunch !! so lovely of her.. then grAce had to leave at about 4 plus.. so after that, i continued watching sChoOl of Rock and sHreK 2.. haiz, my dear eyes, i'm sorry.. hehe..
OK !! tHe MOMENT you all have been watching fOR !! the details of my fiRst Ever pRom !! the event was held at suntec NUSS clubhouse.. my ticket number was 067.. i sat at table 4 !! and guess what ? it was DIRECTLY in front of the mini stage !! haha.. just in case, you are unaware, i CHOSE that table.. *muhaha* <- evil laughter.. ok i shall be humble.. the truth is, there wasn't much choice left when i select the table.. :P okie, enough of crapping.. NOW the programme !!
firstly, i was VERY nervous about my cocktail dress.. it was dark red and have a VERY low cut.. my daddy's eye popped out when he saw me in the dress !! haha.. he even WARNED me not to have any boyfriend until i graduate !! (but graduate from where ? as in after sec/jc/uni ? i dunnoe..) i was extremely stunned when he said that !! you know daddys.. they don't really want their daughters to grow up sooo fast.. blablabla..
secondly, i did not manage to find a shawl that could match my dress.. it was kinda cold ? my shoulders were bare.. (except for the straps)
thirdly, it was the night that i have been waiting for a LONG time !! ever since sec 2, i started day-dreaming.. about this and that.. you know girls.. they haiz..
okie.. here's my account of my prom nite.. when i stepped out of my mummy's car at the taxi-stand, those 'taxi-wait-ers' were like staring at me ?!? i thought that i had accidentally revealed something like my neckline was super low ? or my dress wasn't pulled properly ? haha.. but apparently, i carried myself wonderfully !! i sashayed with elegance on my high heels.. (highest i ever worn..) you must now be wondering why i wore such high heel shoes for when i am already tall.. let me tell you.. it's all just for beauty.. :P let me carry on.. when i stepped out of the lift, it was kinda scary.. coz some malay guys from other class were starring at me.. i was sooo afraid that i exposed something.. haiz.. then at the reception, collected my door gift and signed my 'bIg' name on some decorated paper ?!? o yar, the door gift was a water-filled wine glass with a floating candle inside.. romantic eh ?
the night kicked off with a video that included interviews about life in west spring (with millions of 'thank-you's), scenes of us studying etc.. i would say it was very well made.. then there was a speech by the one and only - mR kHoo !! he said 2 meaningful stories.. the one that had MOST impact on me was about cutting a feathers-filled pillow on a mountain top and collecting the feathers back.. it meant whatever we say about our school, will go around and will be difficult to collect back.. next was mR siNgh's speech.. he emphasized on what mR kHoo said earlier.. finally, it was DINNER !! :D the food was delicious.. esp when sunny gave me a lot of sliced potato with cheese.. yummy.. don't worry, i will exercise more..
at about 8 plus, there was video presentation by 4B.. it lasted for 3 minutes plus and the music that accompanied it was ThRough tHe raiN bY mariah carey.. next was 'table game' .. they gave some 10 items to find.. rather silly though.. expected us to get a 1985 fifty cents coin ? a red handband ? unscramble the word 'graduation' ? a couple within the table ? etc.. haha.. about the couple thingie.. hahahahhahaha.. i shan't say much here.. :P 4D presentation was next.. followed by the mR/miSs weSt spRinG round 1.. we nominated them.. they had to answer questions like some beauty pageant ? judges chose for next round.. o, then there was 'aLumni aWaRenEss' .. you know, we ARE the first batch.. the pioneers.. so malcolm made a propagandizing speech.. haha.. anyway, nice speech, mal.. 4C presentation was next.. then there was a lucky draw.. with HeerEn vouchers as prizes.. amazed right ? quite a number of us did not expect the principal to sponser lor..
finally.. the moment i have been 'dying' for.. 4A presentation.. i was soo tensed.. as i mentioned earlier, i was scared that it wasn't up to expectations.. but i was wrong.. the class seemed to love it !! as the slides of our - sec 1 photos in comparison with sec 4 photos - showed, everyone could see how much we have changed in appearance wise.. of course, there were many giggling..
at last.. the final round of mR/miSs wEst sPriNg.. this time we voted through sms.. some what like the s'pore idol style.. but of course, the hotlines were hp numbers of the teachers.. haha, so silly.. after the crowning of rio as queen and bing qing as king, there was a very, very touching moment..
mR gAn requested that everyone in the room to form a circle, holding the hands of another.. he then sent a hand-squeeze around to make sure that every hand was held.. after which, he made us say 'thank you' to the one on our right.. many girls hugged instead of just saying 'than you'.. it was rather heart-warming when ann, whom i have known since pri sch, hugged me.. then i passed it on to li jein.. i wasn't ready to let go if it wasn't for mR gAn to say 'enuff.. enuff..' haha.. so we sang ~auLd LaNg sYne~ twice.. shortly after the song ended, everyone (mostly the girls) was hugging and crying.. well of course, some of our make-up was affected.. BUT !!! it was super emotionally.. after what it seemed like a thousand yrs, we were 'chased' out of the room.. haha.. coz it was getting late.. i only left there at about 11.30pm ?!? parents fetched.. hehe..
okie, so that is all i have to say.. although the night has passed, memories will FOREVER be within us.. photos will be as 'evidence'.. the photos taken were totally awesome.. both the guys and the girls.. and of course, i once again did a very silly thing.. requested him to take a photo with me.. luckily he didn't mind.. but come-on !! it's nOw or nEvEr !!

firstly, i want to declare that i am EXTREMELY tired..
secondly, WELCOME to my new blog..
thirdly, i will give you full details about MY prom night !! but after i sleep for a while.. is that fine with you ? (well, if your answer is 'NO'.. then so be it !!) i know that i kinda promised that my first message will be about my prom.. but, just to remind you that i have a movie marathon to attend to at later part of the day !! i promise that i will fulfil my promise.. (just in case, you're confused.. the first 'promise' is a verb, while tha other is a noun) okie, i do hope you will forgive me as my eyelids are shutting.. i want to do a FULL description when i'm wild awake !! 'bout my movie marathon, it is held at my home.. gRaCe is coming over.. well, we have been waiting for this day for quite some time.. and we'll be watching many many GirL kiNd of movies.. hehe.. you know, all those princess thingie.. come-on, we may be 16, but we are young at heart okie ? and obviously, we love to dream.. on cloud nine.. that is JUST the way things are ;) i think that's all for now, i really need to catch some sleep.. have not been sleeping early for past few days.. all be'coz of the class presentation for prom nite.. well, i was so scared that it was not up to standard.. but it turned out beautifully.. laughters were heard.. that was when i knew i did not disappoint them.. many even want a hardcopy of it :) they appreciated my work !! i was super delighted.. okie, i shall talk more Later.. since its already pass midnite.. ciao
