o no !!!! today is LAST day of september !! so fast..
today is also the last day of holiday >.< feel like crying.. haiz..
my week has been quite.. boring.. but hopefully fruitful.. cause all i do is hide in my room to study.. haha.. didnt really hav to hide though.. haha.. just that everytime people ask me whats my plan for the day etc.. my answer would be "study''.. no life right ? BUT i did do something other than studying and sleep (at nights.. not nap ok.. piggy here exercises self-control.. "yar right" you may say.. =D <- widest smile.. as far as my cheeks muscle can contract..)..
wednesday, i went to the nursing home.. my grandpa was.. normal ok.. i found out that his birthday was three days bfore and he was telling me no one came to visit him.. and i was like opz.. but promised him i shall for the next few years to come.. then he says he doesnt like his birthday.. no particular reason though.. and i helped him to drink water.. he only has one arm and that arm's hand fingers are not able to open up to grab things.. so i had to hold the glass for him to drink.. he is 83 yrs old.. well, it is really challenging to communicate with him.. coz for one, he is from italy and thus the accent.. number two, his voice is not clear at all coz his voicebox in the neck area is like swollen or collapsed? so it sounds like he is mumbling ? and everytime i feel bad having need to ask him to repeat what he jus said etc.. haiz..
thursday, study whole day.. ok, i was suppose to say what i did OTHER than studying.. haha.. just before dinner like 4.30pm, i went to LiQing's house (bible study friend) to make tiramisu cake for other member's birthday.. she taught we how to make.. and now, littlepig-io knows how to make.. it is quite simple actually and not time-comsuming AT ALL.. haha.. then make it back for dinner at 6pm.. better treat littlepig-io better if you wan to try her tiramisu.. =)
friday was really cooped up in the room other than bible study at night after dinner.. but no choice mah, saturday was going to be out the whole day so better study mah.. o and as for the friday night movie (every friday we are entitled to a movie), i went for the second screening coz had bible study.. we watched "Sophie Scholl".. it is about the student activists in Munich during Hilter Nazi times.. and then the words used like Fuhrer, Treaty of Versailles etc which is sooo O'levels history textbook.. hahaha.. the good thing about this friday night movie is, it forces me to watch such ''educational'' films other than my usual choice of chick flicks.. being deprived of the tv, i hav no choice.. haha..
saturday, early in the morning at 9.30am, me and julianna went to Direct Factory Outlet in Homebush !! we took bus down to Central and then took train to North Strathfield then walked for 1.6km (to save money taking another bus).. yupz.. the journey took about an hour.. the train was nice.. the place had a mini countryside look.. was nice and refreshing.. we had our packed lunch at the playground in Mason Park which was part of our 1.6km walk.. then shop shop shop for three four hours only cause julianna had to be back around 4pm.. so about the shopping, i managed to get real good buy like a their pricetag says they used to be A$79.95 and i bought them for about A$19.95.. the shops there were all branded so the quality is definately guranteered.. hahhaha.. didnt spent a lot lar.. just a little.. but should be fine now that i am working and will get my first aussie salary soon.. yupz, littlepig-io is working parttime and studying fulltime.. haha.. as what we always say "we are poor international students".. hahaha.. we hav money to pay for the expensive uni fees but no money to spend on ourselves.. haha.. see the irony? anywayz, on the way back creston, we had fun too.. we walked back the same 1.6km high and down hill back to the train station.. did not give in to the temptation of taking the bus because of our shopping bags.. (i was very environmental friendly but not asking for alot of bags.. simply put them all together in one bag..)while waiting for the train, we toook many weird insane photos.. afterall, no one around to be embarassed about.. haha..
dinner last night was tv-dinner.. as in we bought our dinner to the lounge to watch Celine Dion music videos.. it was realllly nice.. especially when she sang Titanic's theme song "My Heart Will Go On" (my all-time favourite.. and i am getting better at it) and "Beauty and the Beast" !!! hahhaha.. you see the thing is we dont watch telly at all other than the news (that's if you bother to on the telly at all).. i read the papers though.. so watching the films and music videos as such are like treats for us..
after dinner, julianna and therese and me went to coogee beach to play sparkles.. it wasss soo fun except that we spent ages lighting up the candle as the wind kept blowing off the matchstick.. >.<'''''' then when we were about to head back, we saw a big and bright and yellow moon up on the hill as though it was reacheable.. so we went to that hill and guess what ? when i reached there, the moon was sooooo far away and even smalller !!! can some smart person explan this theory to me ? i was like HOW COME ?!?!?! so we went back down to take photo instead.. so the moral of the story is "even if the moon is big, you shouldnt go towards it".. and the other two were like what a lousy rhythm.. but it wasnt meant to be.. i was jus high and was trying to be litty (literature-ish).. but obviously i failed.. haiz.. come on, i couldnt even pass literature in sec one.. that is how pathetic i am/was.. haha..
so i can sum up my holiday break was meaningful AND at least i have had my fair share of FUN right ?? as usual, photos shall be uploaded to friendster.. the photos there coordinates with my stories here.. also, i made a mistake in last entry about the rugby match that i went.. it was the prelimanary finals.. TONIGHT TONIGHT is the final showdown between the Manly Sea Eagles and Melbourne Storm !! gonna be a tough match.. and creston principal has granted us the permission to watch the finals tonight !!! yea.. once again, it is a privilege.. =)
okie, lunch time soon.. i will try to type my ''weekly reports'' by sunday mornings so the army guys can read bfore they book back into camp.. see ? i am sooo thoughtful.. ><
p.s. forgot to tell you that TOMORROW (1st oct) is public holiday !!! it is Labour's Day in NSW.. apparently, different states have their own calender.. like the public holiday of the Queen's Birthday varies from state to state.. anyway, sermon in church later (at 4.30pm) is about the book of Numbers.. i still miss the morning 10am timing in glory though.. complete with breakfast with family..
also, (when is littlepig-io gonna stop typing ? hehe) my summer session schedule will be out tomorrow and i will keep you all inform as to when i will be going back to spore.. okie ??

the moon is super-dee-duper full, bright and white over here in aussie.. it was already "hung" up in the sky around 5pm as though it was another planet.. so we went to the balcony to shang yue liang for supper.. simply by looking at the big bright moon, i thought of two things.. fAmily and fRiends.. as the last two lines of peom goes "lift head up look at the moon, look down think of family back home".. i can totally relate to that..
remember, we are all looking at the same moon..
gotta go back to do my revision though it is holiday this week.. must push myself !!

peoople !!!! yesterday was soooooo fun !!! but friday was a BAD day.. let me share my bad experience first okie ?
friday i was D-O-W-N.. was scolded in front of class by teacher in tutorial class for talking to my friend.. we were whispering lor.. others talk even LOUDER can ? she say wad " i know you know your stuffs.. i know you will be able to pass the final exams.. if you find my tutorial boring, let me know and i can always excuse you from tutorials.." at first, i wasnt sure whether she was directing at me OR the two girls behind me.. coz she was raising her voice louder and louder.. and the two girls behind kept talking while she was scolding me.. but after class, she approached me and nagged the exact same thing about she can excuse me from class etc coz she knows that i know my work etc.. repeated the same old matter about excusing me from class a few times.. i was fuming inside lor.. when i questioned her back others were talking but why she directed at me. she said that if i kept quiet, the class will be quiet and those talking will naturally stop talking.. so i guess you can say i was made a scapgoat. so at least i felt that way.. i was moody for the rest of the day..
but i tell you what.. princess sharon ain no stone on the ground for people to step. hmp. she is both my tutorial teacher and lab demonstrator.. how sui right ? but i will still turn up for tutorial even if i hav to sleep in class. hmp. i will show her that i ain scared of her. hmp. the anger building within me is making me to study even harder and score even better. hmp.

now, about fabuloous saturday !!
afternoon -> went to this chalk festival at darling habour where artists drew their masterpiece on the floor of the parramount bridge.. it was sooo nice.. some look REALLY 3D.. the wind was soooooo strong that i couldnt stand still properly.. reslly.. and my hair.. haiz.. din tie up so i had a hard time combing when i went back home.. =|
evening -> me and julianna (born in thailand but studied in VJC) had free tickets to watch the National Rugby League Prelimanary-Finals !! we were two of the 32,611 people present !! the atmosphere was simply priceless.. especially when it was the first time ever watching.. given special priority, we managed to find a seat way high up in the stand.. haha.. it was simply COOL to watch the players' formation, tackle, pancake to ground, run for their lives with the rugby ball, touch down etc all from an aerial view.. wow.. the match was Manly Sea Eagles versus Northern Queensland Cowboys.. funny thing was the guy in front of us supports the cowboys while the one behind us supports manly eagles.. then when the cowboys touchdown, the guy in front stood up and cheered.. then the one bhind us shouted "shut up".. guy in front responded "cowboys".. guy behind "sit down".. and it went on back and forth for two three more times and finally the one in front sat down.. then during the half-time break, they talked to each other as though they are friends.. first they verbal attacked each other over our heads, now they chatted over out heads.. haha.. aussie culture i must say.. and i heard a lot of vulgarities that i hav never heard bfore.. haha.. the game was good though.. esp when the team we decided to support, won.. it was the Manly Sea Eagles.. coz this was somewhat their home state.. and there were a lot of Manly supporters.. the atmosphere was great.. after the game, they gave out free sunday newspaper and free energy drink called "Mother".. haha.. interesting name.. then when we reach the stadium entrance, when i was about to take photo for julianna, a random guy joined in.. then his friend took my camera and shoo-ed me into the photo.. after that photo, the friend returned me the camera and shook our hands and left.. i have two words to day - aussie culture.. haha.. when they left, me and julianna looked at each other and said "we're safe".. haha..

woooo i have quite a number of stuffs to blog about !! haha.. okie, so i left off from last monday.. opz.. a week le.. sorryy.. >.<
last monday i slept soooo ''early'' that i hav learnt my lesson - not to sleep sooo late knowing that i have early class the following day.. =( details i shall not go into coz nothing to be proud of.. i'm disappointed with myself that's all.. so i have had my fair share of punishment..
as for wednesday, my little summary of the day that is written on my calendar says it all.. "drowning in physics stress + cv stress (yes i hav to write a cv as of a graduate though i'm only a firstyear) + tutorial stress (my own discipline to get them done bfore the class though no one really finishes (or rather, attempt) them, they do in class..) etc.. must manage time properly and priortise !!" haha..
thursday is my most relaxing day coz i only have two hours of lecture in the morning.. and apparently, the lecturer gave us time off (told us on monday).. so i planned the day properly to make use of the hours for physics (see physics, you shld be honoured.. yar rite..).. so i woke up for breakfast -> went jogging to coogee beach alone -> on the way back up, dropped my the supermarket and was jus comparing prices and guess wad i heard ? i heard the song "somewhere out there".. =| strucked a chord (C major.. hahahhaha.. <- you got laugh notz ?) -> shower -> just in time for lunch.. and the rest was dedicated to revising concepts and practise past papers.. the thing i just dont get was my final answer is correct BUT the way to go about doing it was different from the one stated in the answer sheet.. haiz.. had to crack my brain soo hard..
friday was grounded day.. other than class, hid in my room to study.. didnt go bible study neither did i join the girls to watch the friday-movie-of-the-week which was Miss Potter.. o yar.. people, if you do come across a serial called Bleak House.. must watch !! whether you are able to appreciate literature or not.. i cant rmb if i told you bfore.. but it is really nice.. educational (BBC production) somemore.. anyway thats old news.. lets continue.. so i studied til next morning 5am.. i jus simply couldnt put the notes (i made my own from textbook =) accomplishment.. coz really not worth printing the notes when they are not tt comprehensive.. at least to me..) down.. i jus couldnt find the brake pedal til i saw the nightsky slowly getting bright.. then i went opz.. as what i always say, princess sharon always need her daily sleep (even if it is only a few hours).. haha..
luckily my paper on saturday (tupid lor.. only physics dept holds their papers on saturdays) starts only at 12.30pm.. so i woke up around 10am, eat breakfast and went back to hit the notes and formular etc.. though i know clearly last minute cramming will not work.. mayb coz the action of doing so just gave me a little confidence ?!? anyway, so the paper started and i went on strong.. *beam beam* didnt really manage time properly so din have enuff time to write properly for last question.. alphabets were flying up and down as though they were on a roller coaster.. haha.. but anyways, wasnt really sure how to do the last question anyway.. hahahha.. after the paper, my heart was still pumping quite hard.. reason ? i couldnt believe i was actually able to attempt all the questions !! it was jus unbelieveable.. but yeah *finger bunny ears*.. so i told myself i deserve a goood wkend.. play, relax, no books..
on sunday in the morning, went to a fleamarket with college's vice-principal at balmain which was quite a distance away.. but it was good.. coz i really should explore the state.. you know what.. i would really love to explore around but.. no one to bring me out leh.. the other crestonites can go with me lar.. but everyone timetable different mah.. have to plan real hard.. but then again, simply remind myself to let nature take its course.. why think so much.. haha.. now being a goodie-two-shoes gal is also a good thing mah.. from creston, go uni and back to creston.. not study in room then youtube in library or midnite surf in computer room.. haha..
finally.. today.. monday the seventeen.. after class, i went to jog again to coogee beach alone at around 3pm.. my mind was soo filled and wasnt even concentrating on jogging.. hmm.. o yar !! TODAY MARKS MY SECOND MONTH in sydney.. okie, ''second'' doesnt sound long.. but when i flipped my calender with all the summaries written, it looks quite a while.. so sept is coming to an end soon.. next week is Mis-Session break !!! nooo class =)
jus a few days ago, in the email that me and parents keep in touch with, my mum wrote she was driving along upper thomson and when she say cJc, she though of me.. i was.. thought-less.. my mind went blank.. last monday i slept soooo ''early'' that i hav learnt my lesson - not to sleep sooo late knowing that i have early class the following day.. =( details i shall not go into coz nothing to be proud of.. i'm disappointed with myself that's all.. so i have had my fair share of punishment..
as for wednesday, my little summary of the day that is written on my calendar says it all.. "drowning in physics stress + cv stress (yes i hav to write a cv as of a graduate though i'm only a firstyear) + tutorial stress (my own discipline to get them done bfore the class though no one really finishes (or rather, attempt) them, they do in class..) etc.. must manage time properly and priortise !!" haha..
thursday is my most relaxing day coz i only have two hours of lecture in the morning.. and apparently, the lecturer gave us time off (told us on monday).. so i planned the day properly to make use of the hours for physics (see physics, you shld be honoured.. yar rite..).. so i woke up for breakfast -> went jogging to coogee beach alone -> on the way back up, dropped my the supermarket and was jus comparing prices and guess wad i heard ? i heard the song "somewhere out there".. =| strucked a chord (C major.. hahahhaha.. <- you got laugh notz ?) -> shower -> just in time for lunch.. and the rest was dedicated to revising concepts and practise past papers.. the thing i just dont get was my final answer is correct BUT the way to go about doing it was different from the one stated in the answer sheet.. haiz.. had to crack my brain soo hard..
friday was grounded day.. other than class, hid in my room to study.. didnt go bible study neither did i join the girls to watch the friday-movie-of-the-week which was Miss Potter.. o yar.. people, if you do come across a serial called Bleak House.. must watch !! whether you are able to appreciate literature or not.. i cant rmb if i told you bfore.. but it is really nice.. educational (BBC production) somemore.. anyway thats old news.. lets continue.. so i studied til next morning 5am.. i jus simply couldnt put the notes (i made my own from textbook =) accomplishment.. coz really not worth printing the notes when they are not tt comprehensive.. at least to me..) down.. i jus couldnt find the brake pedal til i saw the nightsky slowly getting bright.. then i went opz.. as what i always say, princess sharon always need her daily sleep (even if it is only a few hours).. haha..
luckily my paper on saturday (tupid lor.. only physics dept holds their papers on saturdays) starts only at 12.30pm.. so i woke up around 10am, eat breakfast and went back to hit the notes and formular etc.. though i know clearly last minute cramming will not work.. mayb coz the action of doing so just gave me a little confidence ?!? anyway, so the paper started and i went on strong.. *beam beam* didnt really manage time properly so din have enuff time to write properly for last question.. alphabets were flying up and down as though they were on a roller coaster.. haha.. but anyways, wasnt really sure how to do the last question anyway.. hahahha.. after the paper, my heart was still pumping quite hard.. reason ? i couldnt believe i was actually able to attempt all the questions !! it was jus unbelieveable.. but yeah *finger bunny ears*.. so i told myself i deserve a goood wkend.. play, relax, no books..
on sunday in the morning, went to a fleamarket with college's vice-principal at balmain which was quite a distance away.. but it was good.. coz i really should explore the state.. you know what.. i would really love to explore around but.. no one to bring me out leh.. the other crestonites can go with me lar.. but everyone timetable different mah.. have to plan real hard.. but then again, simply remind myself to let nature take its course.. why think so much.. haha.. now being a goodie-two-shoes gal is also a good thing mah.. from creston, go uni and back to creston.. not study in room then youtube in library or midnite surf in computer room.. haha..
finally.. today.. monday the seventeen.. after class, i went to jog again to coogee beach alone at around 3pm.. my mind was soo filled and wasnt even concentrating on jogging.. hmm.. o yar !! TODAY MARKS MY SECOND MONTH in sydney.. okie, ''second'' doesnt sound long.. but when i flipped my calender with all the summaries written, it looks quite a while.. so sept is coming to an end soon.. next week is Mis-Session break !!! nooo class =)

last friday was APEC holiday.. and if you have read the newspaper (i m guessing that there is the same famous group photo on the front page of strait times), you would have know that the APEC was held in sydney.. the brown thing that they were wearing is an all-weather coat by the way.. so it meant that the city was in high security, fences, special passes etc.. on campus there was a recruitment as to inviting people to join in the protest (yes there is an anti-bush club in uni).. intially i was thinking hey why not be a part of it jus for the experience.. haha.. then again, as though i hav nothing else better to do >.< so bush coming here was a big thing.. as in there was a woo-ha.. like how he apologise for creating inconvience on coming to aussie land (coz he bought along with him quite a number of bodyguards)?!? there was this funny thing that told place.. it was a prank.. someone dressed up as osama and stepped out of a limo (with canadian flags) in front of the hotel bush was staying.. it was a joke for the security coz it was said that $250 million was spent on security alone.. (dinner and free gifts not included).. and there was a ''wife'' outing.. with the exception of a husband (new zealand's).. din see our PM's wife in there though.. and there was a father and son who were crossing the road to yum cha but the father got pinned to the ground and handcuffed and had to stay a night in the cell with an ice addict.. he broke down saying like how would you like your son witnessing such an event ? and he was not allowed to speak to his lawyer bfore being put in cell. so you see the whole APEC thing ? (and i rained soooo badly on friday.. heavy rain, light rain then heavy again).. the only benefit i get is it was a holiday.. but no use coz you cant go to the city (our orchard road coz reasonably near) and there were mugging to do..
my weekends were super-dee-duper boring.. (only meaningful thing was going to the nursing home on sat and church on sun).. it was studying and studying and more studying..
just had my stats test today.. next is physics on saturday !! H-A-I-Z..
p.s. i m craving for mooncakes.. the ones here doesnt look that nice fore such an unfriendly price.. =| so think of when u sink your teeth into a mooncake, think of me.. when u look at the moon, remember that we are looking at the same moon.. awww.. okie, the last part sounds wrong but i cant rmb where i heard it from.. haha..

solomon knights !!! when i watched the ''somewhere out there'' video, i teared you know.. i just miss you all soooo much.. =| anyway, well done !! sorry i couldnt help out in the planning etc.. me feel bad.. >.<
so now.. update of my weekend.. i left off last entry saying i had chemistry exam.. haiz.. about my chemistry exam, i guessed i can say i took it for granted.. as in i could have done better.. could have not made 2 or 3 tupid careless mistakes.. was sooo angry with myself.. was bad mood for a few hours.. haiz.. tupid me.. like how could i have not remember / know ??
on saturday, there was open house for the uni.. me and hk exchange student went early in the morning after breakfast to collect free freebies.. haha.. we got to make and keep a free solar mini car and ate ice cream made from liquid nitrogen (since nitrogen has a boiling point of -197).. i ate the latter at nus open house before so wasnt new to the concept.. haha.. interesting how you can learn simple stuffs via simple demostrations.. then during supper, we had karaoke session (was some random suggestions during dinner and someone went to borrow).. but the songs were all english and there was no accompany means only you and you only sings.. and the machine gives a mark at the end of the song.. overall, the session was ok not fab.. coz i wan to sing mandarin songs !! anyways.. it was ok coz it perked me up.. was initially dying in the hands of the physics textbook and formulae and explanations.. haiz..
on sunday, early morning after breakfast, i went jogging alone to coogee beach.. i checked.. it is 2km to the beach so in total, the distance to and fro is 4km.. good exercise.. the air was reallly refreshing.. esp when i have been soo stressed studying everytime.. coz i seriously feel it is not enuff.. esp after what happened to my tupid chemistry.. taking it for granted.. *fumes* so i stood there, close my eyes and breathe in.. and my loose hair flew in the cool breeze.. =) after the jog, went back to take a shower and was just in time for lunch (me plan just nice lor..) coz the weather was sooo nice.. there was sun and cool breeze.. we had lunch in the balcony.. was really nice and relaxing.. then we spotted a plane writing words in the sky (with smoke).. initially, we were guessing someone was proposing or something.. haha.. but it turned out to read ''jesus = hope''.. it was really nice.. in the evening was just church..
yesterday (monday), when i was doing door duty, sophie (room neighbour) noticed my eyelids were fully double.. as in, you know my eyes are reall small and very often, my double eyelids are hidden.. but yesterday, *blink blink*.. haha.. then joey (hk fren, not the exchange one) said it is all due to not enough sleep.. true enough, for the past three days since friday, i have been sleeping reall late.. average 2-3am.. (and wake up around 8.15am for breakfast and class) i dont know leh.. the physics concepts just take too long a time to diffuse into my brain.. =|
