i hav a feeling that i ought to be knocked in the head..
exam time -> didnt blog -> reason : busy study -> excused
post-exam -> didnt blog -> reason : having tooo much fun -> sMile =)
haha.. okiee.. i 'm sorry..
21 nov -> went to the Blue Mountains with selena, lizzy, maria and juliana (another one, not the one living in creston).. we left early in the morning.. it was FABULOUS.. the car journey, the hike, everything.. after eating our packed lunch in a garden nearby our starting point, we started hiking from Echo Point (the three sisters), all the way down into the valley, across the valley, up the opposite side of three sisters, up the mountain and tree-top walk back to Echo Point.. amazing how much we managed to walk and at good timing too.. scenic view was simply awesome.. but when we reached the top of the opposite mountain (before heading back to Echo Point), it started pouring, thunder and best of all, HAIL !!!!! haha.. was sooo ''fun''.. small icy balls falling on you.. and the rain droplets were super fat too (given the high altitude i guess).. good thing is i brought along a windbreaker which i could use as a raincoat.. haha.. so by the time we reach Echo Point and walk back to the car, we were already soaking wet.. realllly wet.. haha.. but i must say i had tons of fun.. except that i had a mini cut on my arm.. ''complementedly given'' by the wire up the mountain.. then the moment i reached back creston, selena handed me a parcel.. i was like ''are you sure ? i hardly have any mail much less a parcel..'' and i turned it around and it stated ''grace heah''.. i was like woooooaaaaa and ran to my rooom (to open).. hahhaha.. yes grace, i see that you still have the one-side-printed-black-on-neon-colouredpaper.. hahaha.. good that you didnt throw them away.. coz ''lee hom say must huan bao''.. i have been using that quoted statement til they (creston frenz) cant stand my hua-chi-ness anymore.. haha.. and guess what people, solomon knights or rather, thanks to ally and grace's brillant brains, i have a white mini hot pants as a present.. and boy were they reallllly minnnniii.. hahaha.. thx guys..
22 nov -> joey flew home (hk).. nothing to do (other than work), went to main library to watch x-family.. i reached another parcel today too.. this time from li ling and lai meng.. they got me some snacks and a b'day card and boy has their baby girl grown soo much.. BUT BUT the BUA GUA that they bought for me was CONFISCATED by the immigration.. HAIZ...... yes people, aussie land is very fussy about food products bought in.. esp meat and dairy.. soooo sad can ???????????????
23 nov -> alice flew home (hk).. breakfast at macdonalds with ju, kim and alice.. it was like a farewell breakfast for alice.. kim, ju and i headed to Homebush after that.. as usual, i managed to get a good buy.. like there was this dress that was originally priced at $69.90 but i bought it lesssssss than $5.. hahahhaha.. and plus many more.. we came back to creston about dinner time but didnt eat in creston.. emi, ju, therese and i headed down to Kingsford for oriental dinner.. it was a birthday dinner for therese and we had STEAMFISH !!! yummm.. havent had one since the day i left spore !! and they cooked (including other dishes) really nice.. around supper time, we had a surprise waterbomb fight especially for therese.. haha.. i was clever to position myself in the balcony and thus, throwing waterbombs DOWN onto people.. but.. but.. they still managed to throw quite accurately and i was wet too.. so.. i use a pail to POUR water down on them.. hahaha.. fun fun fun..
24 nov -> ju, kim and i went to the nursing home after lunch.. afterwhich went to all the supermarkets to do last minute grocery shopping cause kim is leaving the next day and ju the following day.. more youtube in main lib just before dinner.. after dinner, helped kim with the packing of her room.. after we packed finish, we rested to watched the last part of star wars episode three (therese and ju were watching) and we chatted a little when the movie end and it was 2am when we dispersed to retreat to our beds.. but since ju and i were sending kim to the airport at 5.50am, i decided not to sleep coz given the three hours only, i will be a zombie..
25 nov -> so i youtubed wil 5.30am.. taxi came and we left creston.. ate subway for breakfast at the airport.. kim flew home (taiwan).. the the bus journey home, ju and i were like sleeeeeeping logs.. haha.. today we had a confirmed election results where the winner is kelvin rudd (howard lost).. australian idol final results was today too.. we watched on the big screen in creston from 7.30 to 10.30pm.. performance after performance.. lionel richie performed too !! the gal nat won by the way..
26 nov-> ju flew home (thailand).. sent her to the bustop..
yupz... EVERYONE has left.. at least the ''gang'' that i hang out most with has all gone home.. HAIZ.. creston is rather empty now.. haha.. well, class officially starts tomorrow.. hopefully i will put my mind onto the books and work such that time will pass faster.. haiz..

happppy birthday to meeeeee !!
hahaha.. today is such a fabulous day.. except that i had to work.. but.. haha.. so long story cut short (gotta study physics for tml which is at 845am aussie time aka 545 spore time).. went church which was in late afternoon.. rush home for dinner at 630pm (they delayed half an hour for me *blink).. my b'day cake was homemade orea cheese cake with 19 candles.. and i blew it all in ONE blow =) and for tradition sake, i brought my piggies up and we took a photo together =) hahahaha.. after dinner, we watched australian idol final 2 on the big screen.. the guy matt (google it) has electrifying eyes.. really.. and the single song "here i am" is awesome.. then after the show, they presented to me a big board with all the b'day messages and put things that spelled my name.. and my surname is a pear (which i am eating now).. haha..
i feel sooo blessed.. being watched over by God's grace and love..
dad, cousins, mickie emailed happy bday..
and mum called in afternoon but i missed the call coz was working.. so she smsed a love declaration message.. haha..
then she called again about half hour ago wishing me happy b'day and passed the phone around.. so there was aunt karen (going back to usa tml), dad, mum, big bro, small bro n lenie.. happppy hearing their voice !!! (though it was only a few seconds for each person)..

today is one seven one one zero seven.. haha.. before my avid readers slaughter me or do something silly to themselves (haha), let me explain where i have disappeared to for such a loong time.. haha.. i have been really busy.. really.. haha.. also, recently mood swings due to stress so couldnt blog.. like i broke down twice.. was so bad that i cried to sleep and wanted to fly home immediately and into mum's arms.. took me awhile to recover.. but kept telling myself, it is just not me to give up liddat.. me ain no give-up-er.. and i can gladly say that it is over and conquered..
okie, the last update is 14 oct.. (prepared to type alot.. and you, be prepared to read alot..)
14 oct -> rugby world cup: england vs france.. england won..
15 oct -> started going crazy over Bushells black tea.. very fragrant i must say..
16 oct -> chem lab was thermochem and phys lab was slinky coil.. boring as usual..
19 oct -> chemistry mid-session test 2.. and we watched Ice Age 2 as the friday night movie.. very cute.. especially with the stressful atmosphere in creston..
20 oct -> careless on my part, computer permanently deleted much of my stuffs.. including assignment that were due in day or two.. panic.. heart pump so fast that it almost flew out.. had to download software, ask julianna for expertise in the cracking of file.. by midnight, was able to recover some stuffs.. the more important ones that i needed real soon.. but.. really lost some stuffs.. =( the panic and sadness and dumbness is horrible.. was so angry with myself..
21 oct -> rugby world cup finals: england vs south africa.. the whole match was disappointing.. both teams scores via kicks, penalties etc.. none was due to tries.. haiz.. SA won.. but i spotted prince william and henry in the stand !! how cool is that ? haha.. credits go to me.. today was thanksgiving unichurches aka combined service.. holy communion.. had a nice msn chat with mum and biggie bro in the evening..
22 oct -> stayed up doing food movie project til 5am this morning.. really fed up with group members..
23 oct -> new addiction to Jay's old song<>..
25 oct -> food seminar at 9 am.. my topic was saratoga chips aka potato chips.. due to the time limit, kinda talked a bit too fast.. but was able to answer professor's question.. scored point =)
26 oct -> watched second screening of the friday night movie "Ocean Thirteen" with Kimberly..
28 oct -> st dinner, the dining room was beautifully decorated coz it was lizzy's birthday.. daylight saving started today at 2am.. meaning, we fast forward an hour.. meaning, spore and aussieland time difference is now 3 hours.. was soo stressed studying for food exam tomorrow.. and dad suddently called me on the mobile.. i was extremely happy.. coz me and family keep in contact via email and occasional msn.. i dont see the need to buy phonecard to call home mah.. haha.. that 6 minutes was enough to boost my energy =)
29 oct -> food final exam.. it was okie i guess.. in the evening, crestonites had formal dinner with Sophie York.. meaning we had to dress for the occasion.. aka formal wear and three course dinner with waitress etc.. the guest speaker wrote a book about this special aussie team that went to b. aceh to help with the tsunami aftermath.. her husband was one of the few that went.. the talk was really good but some photos that she shared was alittle disturbing.. served as a remainder that such natural disaster has taken place bfore.. cause often, we tend to forget..
30 & 31 oct -> mad rush for completion of food movie project.. totally lack of sleep..
1 nov -> submit food movie project.. didnt sleep the whole of last night AT ALL.. initailly in the morning, was happy that it was completed and meant that i could now concentrate whole-heartedly to study for the finals.. BUT.. things didnt turn out it should be.. plus hurting comments from heartless group members.. equals to run home and cry.. this day was the lowest day thru out my whole stay here in aussie so far.. so bad that i wanted to fly home immediately.. i has to re-do the project.. imagine how you'll feel if you were in my shoes..
2 nov -> today marks the LAST DAY of semester.. meaning, i hav completed my first semester in aussie !! haha..
3 nov -> went to nursing home after lunch.. dinner was bbq..
4 nov -> went to Pancakes On The Rocks with julianna, therese, louisa and yunqi.. it was at The Rocks.. in the city, near the Harbour Bridge.. the restaurant is known for its pancakes.. like duh.. haha..
5 nov -> though now is summer.. the weather dropped to 04/11 degrees for the coming week.. wind extremely strong and cold.. we had farewell dinner and supper was ceremony.. played games etc..
6 nov -> Melbourne Cup.. it is a horse race event in Melbourne that is really widely known.. people in melbourne hav a whole week of holiday.. people part of event wear really ''specially''.. haha.. the attract-attention hat and flowing dress etc.. simply google and you will know what i mean.. at creston, we simply had a 50 cents bet on whichever horse.. jus for the sake of fun.. haha..
7 nov -> chef cooked hainanese chicken rice for dinner..
8 nov -> have had late nights for the whole week.. chef cooked corn soup with egg white for lunch.. it made many of us asians miss my mums' cooking.. haiz.. and it was yummy delicious..
9 nov -> math final exam.. it was held at the racecourse nearby.. walked like 3 km to and another 3km back after the exam.. had a really good walk.. helped to relief some stress bah.. biblestudy was farewell event..
12 nov -> chemistry final exam.. racecourse again..
13 nov -> feel so much lighter.. packed up room abit etc..
14 nov -> went swimming at the uni pool.. chef cooked laksa for dinner..
15 nov -> we had chocolate crossbuns for breakfast..
17 nov -> today !!!!!!!!!! in pre-celebration to my b'day tomorrow, julianna, therese, joey, kimberly, alice, sophie, yunqi and i went to eat porridge for brunch along Kingsford.. even drank bubble tea after eating.. we were sooo full.. we had tons of fun.. really.. the enjoyment and happiness cant be explained in words.. but i am really greatful to them for taking time off to eat with me despite the stressful exam period.. i really had an absolutely fabulous day.. thanks guys..
by the way people, during the summer session, since creston will be having a lot of activities, i will be moving to another place to stay for the summer.. and i will be working full-time despite having classes from 9am to 5pm everyday.. haiz.. am i insane ??
