moi exam is OVER !!!!!!!!!!
okie, let me talk about yesterday first.. haha..
yesterday morning after breakfast, i went to swim at the unipool.. swam longer than usual.. maybe because i was trying to escape from the studying.. haha.. then in the afternoon, stayed in the room to study.. haiz.. by 5 pm plus, couldnt take it anymore then went to take a walk to the nearby supermarket and shops.. visited the different supermarkets, went down lane by lane at ultra slow pace.. then went to coogee beach.. slow walk once again.. went to one of the highlands which overlooks the ocean.. i stood there letting wind blow thru every strand of my hair.. spread open my arms (like the famous titanic.. haha) and praise the Lord for his magnificent creation.. it was just soo breathetaking seeing how the waves form and crash against the shore.. i mean.. it is the countless time i am witnessing such thing but it is jus so refreshing everytime i watch them.. by the time i made my way back, the sun was slowly setting.. haha.. so it was a looong walk away from the books.. actually i was more or less prepared.. by havent memorised fully that's all.. haha..
as for today, finally the exam is OVER !!!! it was fine actually.. jus that i had to rush near the end of the paper coz spent a little too much time on a previous question.. haiz.. o wellz.. then after exam, went to Pancakes on The Rocks to eat late late lunch with friends.. ordered Potato Au Gratin which was potato and onion pancake and The Ultimate which is crepes with fillings and flooded in strawberry sauce and topped with icecream.. super dee super yummmy.. then we walk aimlessly around in the city.. walked til legs ache.. around evening, jus slightly before the peak hour, we went to iris's house to chill out.. we played uno cards (kept sabotaging each other.. we would memorise who doesnt have a particular colour card and try our best to demand that particular colour card from that person.. had tons of fun..), watched tv and had snacks (like self made nacho chips topped with tomato baked beans and melted cheese.. and i had to leave slightly "early" (depends on how you define late) before it was too scary and dangerous to walk back..
i stayed back for the summer JUST for this particular course.. and now that it is OVER, can you imagine how glad i am ? and better still, i am FLYING BACK TO SPORE IN A FEW HOURS !!!!

so now it is down to FOUR days.. yipppeee !!!
well.. on friday, we watched a movie called Freedom Writers at creston.. it is realllly good.. it is based on a true story and talked about how this teacher managed to inspire and dissolve the racial prejudice amongst the students who were from really broken background.. really nice movie..
on saturday, went to nursing home and one thing grandma shared with me was "the best occupation is being a student".. and it really hit it.. kinda like a reminder that we should enjoy studying coz once we graduate, it is "welcome to the working world".. o wellz..
on sunday morning, we went to bronte beach not too far away.. i didnt swim but went for a walk on the rocks and took many photos of the creatures on the rocks etc.. church service is now back in the late afternoon..
as for today, i am now back in basser college as activities start today in creston.. i tell myself it is okie coz it is only for three nights.. shouldnt be a problem.. the only thing is.. i have been slacking (kind of) for the day and that means i have one whole day tomorrow to memorise any other stuff before the exam on wednesday.. actually i am more or less already ready but.. you can never be really reallly ready can you ? but you know me.. i study only the main points and tend to miss out one thing or another.. or rather, selective study.. o wellz.. hahaha..
i really cant wait for the flight back home.. =) but patience i shall have.. =)

how's everyone so far ? i must say that you really should not worry too much about the future.. or rather, not to think soo hard about the future.. and that includes your simple day to day chores.. that is my lesson of the week.. i worried soo much about this and that.. and God 'woke' me up by surprising me..
on monday evening, creston principal invited me out to watch a play dress rehearsal that is a little drive up north.. it was a nice time out really.. got to admire the night view of the city.. the harbour bridge and opera house.. really need some time out of the house i must say..
today is valentine's day.. wad did little miss piggy do leh ? well, in the morning, after breakfast and sending of some valentine's day e-cards, went for a swim.. i wonder why i hardly feel tired (not even out of breath) after swimming continuously for quite some time.. hmm.. is it because i keep thinking about things and bu zhi bu jue swim so many laps liao.. or i am becoming fitter ? haha.. i would prefer the latter choice.. o wellz.. then i spent the afternoon on revision for next week's final exam..
after dinner, went for a Girl's Night Out gathering !!! it was organised by a church member.. and it was for girls only.. haha.. after some time spent on voting, we decided on the click flick that the majority wanted to watch - She's The Man.. we ate chocolates as we watched.. though i have already watched the movie in spore, it was nice watching again.. then i had to rush back to make it in time for creston's curfew.. overall, it was a nice gathering really.. glad that i decided to go.. =)

since webcam was down yesterday, i requested for special permission from the principal to use the computer in the office to chat with my parents online.. coz that computer's internet works fine.. and so when i webcam with parents, i practically broke down.. really.. i cried in front of them.. i just miss them soo much and was hoping them to call me but they didnt.. i carried my handphone around me all the time in case i miss their call or smething.. but i kept telling myself maybe they are busy but.. as the EDITTED saying goes, the higher you hope for, the greater the pain when you fall..
so i was very selfish to blame them for forgetting about me.. never call me.. they rather go play mahjong than webcam with me etc.. tears jus came flowing..
then after a while, tear glands slowly ''cease operation''.. and talk quite a bit with family.. and i was ashame of myself.. coz my parents went thru soo much more not pleasant stuffs than me.. like my mum injured herself soo many times while preparing for this and that.. then the three boys at home didnt really help her etc.. and there i was throwing temper & creating a big fuss that they forgot about me and didnt BOTHER calling me.. haiz.. afterall, i am the only girl.. a spoilt one too.. so yar.. but in the end, all went well.. i mean afterall it is cny, you are not suppose to bear hard feelings..
anyway people, you have a long break of four days.. so enjoy =)

happpy lunar new year !!!
how's everyone's day so far ? me ar.. haiz.. last night the internet kept fluctuating and was a little tired so didnt stay online for long..
this morning, drank only a hot cup of milo cause was still full from last night.. i then went to the library to watch movies youtube.. went back creston for lunch and went to bondi junction and now i am back in the library.. though i didnt buy anything, it was a nice walk alone..
on the bus ride there, beside me was a chinese lady and i initiated and wished her a happy lunar new year and she wished me back.. haha.. and we chatted for a while til i alighted.. haha.. super random..

when i first came to use the computer, the internet was down.. then i played a little of solitare and was about to give up and retreat back to my room.. and i tried the internet once more and it worked !!! that's how i am here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i jus came back from my chuxi ye dinner with church friends.. o my, i ate sooo much !! my stomach is really bloated at the moment and i cant slouch.. gotta sit up straight.. guess what ? God's timing and plans and surprises are just soooo enjoyable and comfortable and the best !! they prepared yu sheng (salmon as the fresh fish), steamboat (with jiao zi) and tang yuan (hot soyabean as soup) !!!!! fabulous !!!! it was soo goood.. and i didnt feel left out coz i am still "new" to them mah.. and we played another mini version of zhong ji mi ma and i had to eat another two jiao zi as punishment.. haiz.. yar.. before that i already ate soo many jiao zi that i am still burping them now !! hahaa..
i guess i too was able to have this festive feeling.. (proved me wrong from previous entry)
then when i came back to creston.. principal gave me a pair of orange flavoured lollipops.. haha.. in replacement to mandarin oranges.. haha.. how cute..
i am soooo glad to have such a wonderful dinner.. and able to use the internet to guo nian.. though no one to chat at the moment.. i shall find entertainment online.. hahahaha.. i can have my own version of shou ye.. but three hours ahead of you guys.. haha.. o yar, my blog is set to spore time.. haha.. o wellz..

today is the longest class-day.. from 9am to 5pm.. so now, i just finished lab which was the last part of the day.. and the lab demonstrator was hurrying us to complete our report and submit them.. she was like "hurry up.. i have a reunion dinner to attend !!" and my heart went "as if we dont have.." (cause there is quite a few asians around).. and i thought again.. true.. yar.. I DONT HAVE.. haha.. and when friends and i parted for the evening, we wished each other a happy chinese new year.. and when i wished them, it was like simply EMPTY WORDS.. the whole happiness meaning was absent.. and i feel it is the family members that you have that brings about this happiness.. (ok, i am tearing now.. in library somemore) it is just that i suddenly thought of my family back home..

so this is my first chinese new year away from home.. away from my beloved family..
some of you may have received my lovely cny cards.. and there is a similar sentence in all the cards.. which is the line where i wish you all a fabulous festive season with all the cny goodies.. and everytime i was about to pen that sentence down, i had to 'bluff' myself to feel that i am too gonna enjoy this cny with all the company and goodies and let the fake happiness fill me in order to wish you all happiness.. but at the back of my head, i know it will never come true.. no bak gua, no mum's prawn rolls (tearing again), no mum-cum-dad-specially-cook chu xi ye dinner (crying liao), no lo-hei with extended family etc.. of course the hongbaos.. but they are not the most important as compared to the others..
you see people, it is all about treasuring the people around you.. of course, if i hav a wonderfully handsome boyfriend then i am sure i will be fine.. but i dont you see.. so at this time, if you are arguing with your parents, you should be ashame of yourself.. dont forgive them jus because you should as it is chinese tradition to forget all hatred.. but forgive them from the bottom of you heart.. if they are in the wrong, why cant you jus close one eye ?? close both eyes also wont die right ? afterall, they are getting older, become more naggy but one day when they become a burden, are you gonna throw them into the old folk's home ?
the grandpa that i was visiting at the nursing home passed away when i went back to spore for christmas.. so now i am paired up with a new grandma.. she is 93 years old.. she keep telling me how she cant see a single thing.. she is left with one eye only and that eyesight is failing.. and she tells me everyday everyday is the same.. it is ultra boring.. due to her weak body, she cant walk around as much as she like.. there is practically nothing to do at the home.. if you think they can at least talk to others, that is only right to an ultra small extent.. coz others are just as weak and cant talk too.. so.. nursing home or wadeva home is not that pleasant place to be afterall you know..
o wellz, think i have crapped more than neccessary.. sorry about being a little emotional..
well, a good news is that i will be joining my church friends at someone's house to have dinner.. we are all asians mainly from spore and m'sia.. so if i cant spend chu xi ye with my own family, i guess spending the night with other brothers and sisters in Christ is just as fine.. God's family afterall.. well, i guess spending with creston people will be boring coz they are all locals.. o wellz.. i mean they tried very hard to ask me how should they celebrate for me etc.. but it is jus sooo hard to explain.. til a point that i dont wanna share.. haha.. coz it seemed soo no point in saying.. coz i know they will just dont get it..
so tml.. chu yi.. it is not a public holiday so shops will still be open.. i will either stay in the library to watch youtube or go shopping alone.. but shopping here is not like spore.. no megamall or smething.. o wellz..
enjoy your house-visiting !!!!! dont complain that you have to see all your san gu liu po.. afterall, you get $$money from them.. wad else more you want ? loneliness ? i will be more than happy to give it to you.. i promise..

TWO WEEKS and THREE DAYS left !!!!
it really takes courage to step out of darkness and blog you know.. recent weeks, my life has been really much better.. people whom i have emailed would have known that..
there was the winning champion djokovic in Australian Open tennis match.. whom i supported dearly.. haha.. i am sure you can guess the reason.. >.< but of course i must give credits to newcomer tsonga for coming soo far..
there was Australia Day.. me and therese went to the city to enjoy the event.. pasted a aussie flag on my cheek.. haha.. went aboard a battleship at the maritime museum.. watched the women's finals on big screen (the day before, watched the guy's semi-finals on big screen too) etc.. beautiful day..
for people who are confused, i am back in creston.. the principal was gracious enough to let me stay here despite having some activities.. meaning meals are provided and i am concentrate on my studies.. but i must say all these are by God's grace.. watching over me.. =)
so while you people are enjoying your cny, i am studying coz i have one final exam on the coming tuesday.. haiz.. and the next one is in two weeks two days.. i sooooo cant wait for the exams to be over !! haha.. so i have been trying really hard to get all the facts into my tiny (but cute) brain.. hahaha..
the weather here is a bit unpredictable.. as of the previous entry, there is no need for a fan coz it is a wet summer now.. haha.. rain, cool wind etc..
compared to the initial days back in aussie land, now is a whole lot better.. must give thanks..
