today i met up with ying shin !! i was sooo excited since last night !! even forced myself to sleep early so i may wake up early and not miss the bus..
i went to ying shin's unilodge at broadway, waited for her in the lobby.. when i saw her, i was like "ying shin ~~~" and gave her a hug.. haha.. long time no see mah.. 7 (almost 8) weeks liao i think.. so we walked to her church.. after the service, she introduced her friends to me.. they are nice.. and we have lunch together.. thai food.. =) afterwhich, we went back to her apartment coz i wanna see how it looks like.. not bad wor.. quite spacious =) then she accompanied me to walk walk in broadway shopping centre..
i would sum up the day and time spent with her as marvelous.. =)
tomorrow marks the beginning of week 6.. practically half the semester is gone !!! incredibly fast !! and i am being a good gal revising my work consistently.. =)
and tomorrow.. we mark the beginning of a new month - september !!
parents' wedding anniversary coming up => making something really special.. all i need is TIME !! haha.. speaking of anniversary, heah heah talked about a mv "greeen-kiseki".. i youtubed it up.. and o my.. it is sooo nice and cute .. here is the link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTMegULiDq8

yesterday, the 29th olympics in beijing came to an end..
just like what the International Olympic Committee chief Jacques Rogge said, "Through these Games, the world learned more about China, and China learned more about the world.... These were truly exceptional Games."
with more than 40 world records and more than 100 Olympic records set.. and of course, the two icons of the Games - Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt.. i definately had a marvelous time watching them compete..
it may just be 16 days of competition.. but it is an event where different nations come together for competitive sports.. and that alone is very remarkable..
and at the same time, i have to start focusing on my uni work.. haha..

in those crucial minutes and seconds, he raced against others to beat the world record..
HOW ABOUT YOU ? how did you spend your past ONE week ?
interesting question eh ? someone out there is being paid off for his sheer hard work and here i am watching him on the television.. hahaha..

anyway, now that swimming is over, there is syncho swimming, rhythmic gymnastics, 110m hurdle etc.. and before you know it, the closing ceremony is NEXT SUNDAY !!! that is sooooooo fasttt !!!!
well, the weather is dropping further.. the forecast for tomorrow and the rest of the week is 3-4 degrees.. cold i tell you..
o and yesterday, went for a drive to glebe with some crestonites for churros !!! woo yummmy.. spanish san churrosss..

i am basically cheering on for the asian countries.. like jap, korea, china etc..
i see this beijing olympics to be a time for the asian countries to shine..

the beijing olympics opening ceremony last night was awesome and fabulous.. from the sycho of the drummers, to the light effects, to the human-in-type wave effect, to the contemp dancing-and-drawing and finally to the lighting of the torch.. i couldnt be more proud than anything.. proud to be a chinese i must say.. though at times we make some harmless jokes about chinese nationals.. but i tell you, that whole opening ceremony reallly put some s*** in some people's mouth.. see if they EVEN dare to look down on chinese every again..
and there was the marching of the different countries.. i like the idea of the people stepping on the coloured ink and walking on the painting.. AWESOME idea.. at creston, we watched on the big screen in the lounge.. the good thing was we had a little geography class as we had guidance to knowing the african countries, the pacific islands, the south american etc.. and when singapore came out, WWOOOO.. GO SINGAPORE !!! haha.. the idea of marching order to go according to the number of strokes of the chinese character is really innovative.. really proud once more..
for lunch, the cups and glasses were arranged in the olympics ring formation.. haha.. and for dinner, they were arranged in the crescent and 5 stars (spore flag).. thx kim.. haha.. and the rest of the night was basically watching the swimmmming heats.. congrats to tao li on being first in her butterfly heat.. you go, girl..

todays marks the end of Week 2.. which is quite fast i must say.. and soon it will be final exams !! woo.. that's gonna be a little stressful.. anyway, last night we had a farewell party for selena, now ex-principal of creston.. we had lots of fun.. we threw waterbombs at her.. imagine playing waterbombs in the winter !! your fingers practically turn icy cold.. and we used those normal size balloons.. woo.. huge.. and we filled it up with cold water.. hahaaaa.. then we had a ''party'' when a lot of crazy stuffs happened.. but i shall not mention because it is rather inappropriate.. hehe..
today also marks the START of Beijing Olympics !!!!!!
i still remember the time when countries were bidding to host the games.. and when the results came out, it was like ''woa.. 2008 in beijing'' and it seemed as though we had to wait for quite some time.. and NOW, this is 2008 and it IS starting tonight !! it just remind us of how we should treasure every single second we hav on this Earth..
well, one good thing is that channel 7 will be airing tons of events.. and i plan to sit in front of the telly all the time.. nah, i am kidding.. well, we have the schedule of when each of the events begin.. guess i shall just arrange my time accordingly..
i am quite excited to be frank.. i wonder why.. haha..
o yar, tomorrow, daddy mummy gege are gonna fly offffff to the states.. awww.. i am gonna miss dumbo.. actually i planned to visit him.. but the thought of the ultra long flight makes my butt cram.. so.. haha.. shall wait for him to graduate then fly over bah.. i dunnoe.. lets see.. i may miss him soo much that i may just fly across the pacific ocean Just to see him.. hahahhaa..
