just felt like sharing something happy with everyone..
(abstract from email)..
ally and grace !!!
who say you can spend soooo much money to send a parcel over !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (very expensive leh)
haha.. but miss piggy very delighted and happy..
what happened was, i was about to leave creston to go to examination venue, then someone came in and said "sharon you have a parcel from singapore".. i was like "what ?" sharon hardly get mails.. not even from banks (coz i adopt for paper-less updates).. haha..
and then the parcel "flew" into my face.. (friend brought it to me).. and i was giving this weird expression.. why would ally send me stuffs ??
and when i opened and poured everything out, i went "lao po s are crazy.." hahaaaa..
didnt have time to read them and left for exams.. i suppose God planned such a perfect timing to calm me down =) Praise the Lord..
the paper was ok i must say.. could have been worse.. time planning was horrible as usual but managed to answer everything more or less.. =)
Praise the Lord for food microbiology is over =)
then last night, i read thru them slowly =) facial masks, i understand.. but hor, tiger balm plaster ???? hahaa.. totally random can ? but i am sure it will come in handy.. coz last week my neck ached sooo badly.. hahaaaa..

o hello people..
currently, i am treating myself to some internet time.. finally not for research purpose but for relaxation purpose.. haiz..
so i was looking back at some photos from a few weeks ago.. the smiles from the photos jus seem to have a therapeutic effect on me.. and then i realised that i have not shared them on friendster.. haha.. so yupz, they are up now..
hmm.. have there been any (really) interesting thing happening recently..
last friday, my food processing class had an excursion to Birch & Waite.. they package food for airlines and hospitals AND also, do some mixing for some food products before packaging them.. first of all, how to get there.. you have to take a bus from creston to central city then take a train to the factory.. and my visit timing was 9.45am.. luckily it wasnt 8.45am.. goodness who knows how early i have to wake up.. BUT, my friend who has a car offered to give me a lift since they still have one more place in the car.. so yipppeee, praise the Lord.. and so i helped with the map reading.. haha.. as what gege says, he has trained me well.. haha.. >.<''''''
so about the factory... it was overwhelming =) it was sooo freakingly small on the outside.. doesnt even look like a factory.. and inside was big !! at least the layout made it look big.. so we managed to see the production line etc.. the machines look different from those we see in our lecture notes definately.. look cooler in real life.. BUT one thing that i never thought of was the washing of machine.. coz in this plant, they use the machine for different products, meaning they have to WASH everything down properly !! not jus one big bowl, but every single tubes and nozzles etc.. o my goodness.. he says, it will take at least TWO people TWo HOURS to do the washing.. hahaha.. i was like " blink blink eyes*..
but the machines in the packaging line was fun =) i saw this continuous belt melt plastic sheets into small containers, fill it up with salt and seal it and tadaa, your product.. we being young and blur, asked why the salt in pink.. he was like we are packing salt for the airline Etihad business class.. and we went "wahh" and he allowed us to take a small packet =) haha.. o yar, my little tour group guide was the general manager.. soo cool.. you could tell he does know his stuffs.. he can explain stuffs in the plain-est language.. haha.. and he always thank the operator (when we are in the area).. and he "taught" us, that it is important to smile (show appreciation) at the operators.. something that aussies do better than asians..
there was also a plannning team.. they have this huge whiteboard and they coordinate when the raw materials come in, when to start making the product (including how long), on what machine and when the product has to be shipped out.. huge major planning.. we agreeded that you must have real PROPER time management to be able to do that job.. haha.. coz one major important thing is, your have to make and pack the product simultaneously.. you cant keep the product overnight etc..
anyway, we asked what is the working hours like.. it is 7 am to 11 pm.. our eyeballs almost drop out.. hahaaa.. but then he addes that actually it comprises of 2 shifts.. like "pheww".. in addition, we got a casear salad dressing as ''souvenir''.. haha.. including my pink business class salt.. haha..
well.. the weather took a plunge today.. single digit..
it was ''brillant'' coz i decided to wash the creston car today.. before exams get tooo close.. car-washing in australia is really exciting.. let's see.. the wind is unpredictable.. as in, it is constantly blowing.. but from every direction.. and i cant wear jacket coz i could scratch the car.. so my fingers and toes (wore slippers) were practically frozen.. PLUS, the bubble (foam) and water practically FLEW backwards and smacked into me !! (thanx to the wind) that was the happy part actually.. haha.. can you imagine.. haha.. but i must say that it was an interesting experience =) and the achievement => a clean, shiny MPV => by one person => me..
hmm.. any other thing..
principal would like to nominate me to attend this National Student Leadership Forum to be held in Canberra (capital of Aust) in sept.. but i will have to miss 2 days of uni though.. she highly recommand me to go.. coz it is quite a big event and it would be a loss to not attend.. there will be conferences with aussie PM and opposition leader and other ministers.. and service project etc.. gotta discuss with mama though.. miss uni or a life-time opportunity ? and creston is willing to pay half the fees.. (with accomodation in Hyatt hotel.. haha.. posh..) i dont know.. need to ask mama..
hmm.. any other other thing..
i was chatting with dino the other day and i came up with a random idea.. i feel like escaping to US this year end instead of working parttime.. hehe.. imagine this, 2 months holiday in US (leaving one month in spore) with free accomodation + FOOD and airplane ticket sponsored as 21st bday present.. HAHAHAHAHAAa.. what a wishful thinking.. what a dream.. dino say he could sacrifice his return-to-spore-in-dec ticket in return for me to fly there.. isnt he sooooo cute.. haha.. that's why i really miss him.. haiz.. (but there might be some other commitments such as returning early to aust for thesis research.. AHHHH ~~~~~~~) so people, dont take this thought seriously.. just felt random to share my happy thought =)

the month of may has not been good.. apart from stress, what can i more say..
broke down a few times.. simply because of my horrible grades.. and when i say horrible, i meant not even a pass..
it took me a while to snap out of the depress mode.. and hence, social isolation..
becoz of the great trauma, i lost all my confidence.. even after people encouraged me, i could say "i can do this" but it was all verbal.. my soul felt empty as though i was going to collapse soon..
and my parents and dino were gracious and understanding.. didnt scold me for the horrible grades.. simply told me to look ahead..
but i just want people to know that i am ok. feeling much better now..
this week is the last week of semester.. final exams are in 2 weeks.. i seriously have to buck up and hope for the best.. NO, i shall try my best.. and leave the rest in His hands..
want to know where i finally got strength to face the world again ?
You hold my future in Your hands.. and i shall be strong and not doubt Your power and might..
